Brawl Stars: Penny's new Gadget
Here we are, the time has come to provide you with information and previews on the brand new Gadget for the Brawler Penny. The new Gadget is called Captain's Compass, and includes using the Mortar by making use of the brawler's Super. If with the first we could explode the mortar into a thousand pieces and cause damage to nearby enemies, with the Captain's Compass we will have a sort of remote-controlled fire, let's see how it works.
As the description itself says, Penny has her mortar perform a powerful attack directed at the brawler's current location. This implies that the bombs fired from the mortar reach Penny's position, wherever she is (obviously there is a maximum distance). But be careful, let's try to better understand what is meant by "Penny's position".
As you can see in the screenshots or in the video preview, the mortar fires a series of shots that fall covering an area around Penny, if completely stopped. If, on the other hand, Penny is in motion, the shots will somehow follow her footsteps, thus falling into the right trajectory of her movement. So let's talk about the Artificial Intelligence of shots.
Two ways to use the new Gadget
- Stationary position: by standing still for a moment and having in mind the radius of the area with which the mortar shots fall, we can be able to catch brawlers that are near or behind walls and obstacles.
- On the move: perfect method when we have an enemy behind us who is chasing us. Since the shots follow the trajectory of movement we will be sure that the bombs fall on the enemy behind while we are running in one direction.
The shots, however, will not be accurate. This means that it will happen that, by activating the gadget (up to a maximum of 3 times), the shots do not hit, it will be up to you to be able (at least) to calculate the minimum distance from the enemy brawler so that, always keeping in mind the radius and diameter of the area covered by falling shots, you manage to hit nearby enemies.
