Rumors have been around for a long time now, but now it's official: Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch. To confirm this are the same official social profiles of the video game and a press release from Game Director Chad Grenier.
Electronic Arts is one of the major triple A publishers that least supports Nintendo Switch, but has managed to find a compromise for Apex Legends, battle royale developed and edited by Respawn. Chad Grenier, in the statement published in the EA blogs, warns players and onlookers that the game has been adapted for the flagship console of Nintendo thanks to contribution of Panic Button studies.
Moving Apex Legends to such a small screen is a huge achievement for us, and we would never have done it without our friends from Panic Button. We are very proud of the results that the team has been able to achieve with the optimizations for Switch, which will allow us to give players the complete gaming experience of Apex Legends wherever they go.
The release also reports that Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch will be equipped with support for the cross-play with other gaming platforms, as well as presenting the latest contents of the 8 season such as new character Fuse.
For those who play Apex Legends in the first Weeks of season 8, there will be 30 free battle pass levels e double experience points for the next two weeks.
In short, from March 9 Apex Legends champions will also launch on Nintendo Switch.
