    THE USUAL HEROES
For those who had just tuned in to the events of Trine 2, know that we are talking about a puzlle game to be played in co-op if you have friends or to be done in singleplayer but controlling three different Heroes each having their own characteristics. It starts from the Magician, weak but powerful with magic, the stupid but strong Warrior with sword and shield to get to the Thieves, agile and silent in shooting arrows from a distance. The story behind the game does not differ almost one iota from the previous chapter, with the recall by the Trine (a fairy jewel with immense power that must not fall into the wrong hands) of these curious characters who will have to join forces to unlock certain puzzles in a horizontally scrolling world.

    Trine 2: Review

At any time it is possible to switch from the Wizard to the Warrior or the Thief in order to unlock paths, fight or jump over some ditches. In fact, Trine 2 mixes combat sequences with others where you have to use your brain. As I said above, each of the three characters has its own particularity in order to make the gameplay more varied. The Warrior will be the brute force of the group, capable of delivering deadly swipes of the sword or of defending itself with the shield from the attacks of the enemies. The Thief is the agile one, equipped with a bow for ranged defense and a grappling hook that allows it to overcome huge chasms or to hook almost anywhere it wants to rise. Lastly, we have the Wizard who, thanks to willpower, can move objects or create boxes that are useful for solving certain puzzles. If everything may seem easy enough, know that as you progress in the game you will come across crazy situations where you will be asked to fight against various enemies, be careful of various traps, defend yourself and solve several headaches even at the same time. Each of the three Heroes will have its own life force which is not infinite, so be careful to command one or the other character well since you can even die. Don't be scared though, as in any self-respecting co-op, as long as all three characters don't die, you won't see any game over. Then we have the Platform part of the game that abilities in the movement for the collection of some light globes that allow to improve the performance of the various characters: these are not real RPG sections but something absolutely simplified.. Finally, know that the schemes are full of portals, magically closed doors, secret crevices to discover, hidden caves and so on that greatly increase the longevity of the game - which is not as high as I expected. More experienced players will finish it without too much trouble in the middle of the afternoon.

    Trine 2: Review

    REALLY WONDERFUL
It was a long time since I stopped to admire such a game, beyond the excellent graphics of the games currently on the market, Trine 2 has an elegance and a fantasy far from the realistic games of today. The colorful and detailed style blends perfectly with a study of the schemes that are nothing short of excellent. If we then add that the fairytale air is not breathed every day in a PC game, I am sure that many people will literally be amazed just by seeing the images accompanying the review. As a graphic engine, moreover, there is an absolutely perfect use of the physicality and dynamics of fluids. Water, for example, is the best developed element I've seen on a PC game this year. Excellent general modeling and on-screen details. Good particle effects and those of light that manage to perfectly evoke the fantasy atmospheres also embellished by a dreamlike style that has long been missing on our screens.. Finally, the audio is at good levels but one could have hoped for something more delicious also as the main soundtrack. The game is not then dubbed in our language so you will have to be satisfied with the subtitles and menus in español.

    Trine 2: Review

Trine 2 is a highly recommended title for puzzle game enthusiasts and if your experience with the game comes directly from the previous chapter, I think you will be absolutely amazed by the great work done by Frozenbyte: both in terms of graphics and gameplay, enormously improved. . In very few words, a pearl not to be missed. If we add that the game only costs 14 Euros… I wonder why you are still here reading this review. Run to buy it.
