September has just begun and the release ofEarly Access dell'attesissimo Baldur's Gate 3 approaches. It's only been 14 years since the previous chapter, ei Larian Studios (Divinity: Original Sin) are doing their best to present fans with a playable version that offers several contents although it is not yet complete. However, despite being an early access, the game will already be sold at full price.
The Larian Studios portfolio andmassive narrative universe behind the Baldur's Gate saga and in general behind the Forgotten Realms and D&D have created great expectations for this RPG title. Set exactly after the events of the adventure of D&D 5 called "Descent into the Avernus", Baldur's Gate 3 will see the player managing a group of adventurers marked by a common destiny: captured by a Mind Flayer, they are shipwrecked in the Avernus during a ritual that would have transformed them in turn into of the illithids.
This time it's not just about the return of an old franchise in the videogame scene, but also of a great project of Wizards of the Coast which is carrying out a multimedia narration of its intellectual properties, including D&D modules, video games, books and Magic cards.
Now that we've made it clear how strong the anticipation for this title is, let's move on to the statement of Michael Douse on Twitter, Director of the Publishing Section of Larian Studios. Yesterday Douse updated Larian and Baldur's Gate fans about aTwitch integration devoted to voting "certain things" during the gameplay of the title, and later clarified price and hours of play dell’Early Access.
[...] the price will be $ 59,99. Don't feel obligated to buy it during Early Access. It won't disappear, and neither will we. In the end, it's going to be a very big game. Even if Early Access lasts 25 hours in un solo play-through, the final game will be much longer.
As expected, they really were many complain about the full price. Early accesses typically have a lowered economic threshold due to the lack of full content, but Douse clarifies that it would be like making a pre-order, with the difference that you already get 25 hours of gameplay in return instead of 0 while waiting for the full game to arrive.
We remind you that Baldur's Gate 3 will arrive on September 30 on Steam and on Google Stadia. No launches on other platforms are planned at the moment, but we will certainly see some in the future.
