Creative Assembly shared his initial plans for the new class of games for his historical Total War series which will launch soon as "Total War Saga".
This new spin-off of the series will be in the hands of players before the next big historical release of the franchise, promising a very busy period for all fans of this strategic saga.
In a blog post from www.totalwar.com, Jack Lusted, Game Director of the future Total War Saga title, explains what fans can expect from this new class of Total War games. Building on the previous titles, Total War Saga will focus on the crucial points of those eras, such as civil wars, famous conquests and political upheavals.
Similar purpose and focus of Fall of The Samurai, the standalone, best-selling sequel to SHOGUN II, the first Total War Saga will continue from ROME II and ATTILA, presenting an exciting new challenge in a specific geographic area.
