For months it has been clear that Halo Infinite, next gen chapter of the historic Microsoft series, will be an essential experience for Xbox Series X owners, but for a few hours we have known that the developers are working to ensure that the experience on PC is also extraordinary: yesterday 343 Industries showed game support for 32: 9 monitors, and the result is truly impressive.
From the images shown on the Halo Waypoint blog we can see how the Infinite interface does not struggle to adapt to ultrawide screens, providing a deep, immersive (yes, there can be no better term) and spectacular visual experience.
In comment, Halo Infinite chief of development for PC Mike Romero said that the game is designed to support different screen sizes by adapting its HUD, menus and even cutscenes even at larger formats.
Here are some screenshots released by the blog:
“There are dozens of people across the studio who have had to work hard to support ultrawide throughout the game, and I'm very excited to say I think we'll have one of the best ultrawide supports I've ever seen in a video game“, Romero boasts.
What do you think?
Do you believe that such a feature will be able to to write a piece of PC gaming history?
