Onion Games it is not a particularly well-known company in the West.
The thing she has most recognized over the last few years is certainly it's worldwide re-release on Nintendo Switch di Moon RPG.
The small software house seems to have something else brewing: something interesting and totally unexpected nowadays. We are talking about old or almost forgotten games, which cost a fortune and which have been very little played in Italy.
Old horror available now
Maybe we'll come back to talk about Moon RPG in two seconds, but now let's head towards what is there actual news of the day: the Japanese company has launched a survey to ask its users which of the previously released titles they would like to review on physical and digital shelves
Over the past year we have conducted a survey to get to know our fans better. Now, for 2021, we'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on what you'd like Onion Games to release next, especially if we look at the pre-Onion game lineup. Porting older games is always a big challenge for us, and we can't 100% guarantee that any of these options will happen. But, even if a port only has a 1% chance of coming true, your vote could be a big step towards making that dream come true!
What titles are there in the past of Onion?
Here comes the interesting part: Onion Games has declared that it can pick up two rather interesting titles from the Japanese videogame past: the unrecognized ChuLip and the much talked-about Rule Of Rose.
If the first is a hybrid between a role-playing video game and a bizarre simulator of feelings, in full style Love-de-lic, the second is a survival horror that in Italy even ended up in the newspapers for visual violence. The low number of copies it was printed in and the early removal from the shelves transformed the copy Spanish PS2 di Rule Of Rose in a real collector's item worth several hundred euros
The reasons behind the choice of this title are not entirely clear: probing a bit on MobyGames we discovered that a director and a scriptwriter of Rule Of Rose worked on Black Bird, one of the latest video games from Onion Games but nothing more.
In any case the poll is at this link and will last seven days starting today.
