One of the side events of the gaming week was the launch on Netflix of Dragon's dogma, the expected anime taken from 2012 Capcom video game, but it is not the only novelty linked to this RPG classic: according to a well-known insider, DD's game director may be working on a sequel.
Warning: what you are about to read is a news based on one of Dusk Golem's many rumor tweets, insider of the Japanese industry much discussed lately, but really the release of the Dragon's Dogma anime could lead us to define its latest releases as interesting.
A new open world is coming
Starting from "certain" things, we know that the director Hideaki Itsuno would be working on a next gen open world game developed for RE Engine, as reported by Dusk Golem.
Pressed on the subject, the insider certainly could not confirm a sequel to Dragon's Dogma, but admitted that Itsuno's new title will be of the same genre as one of his most famous games.
How to judge such a rumor?
As mentioned before, a relaunch of the brand could be in the air, especially thanks to the strange but intriguing revival of the brand with the anime (which among other things proved to be a good example of transposition, able to make you savor the atmosphere of the original story).
On the other hand, Dragon's Dogma is a title that now has a generation on its back, during which he has never been talked about, so the possibilities of his return seem shrouded in a veil of uncertainty.
Dragon's Dogma 2 will soon join Capcom's already packed schedule of releases for the next few years (we remember among the other Residents Evil Village and the RE 4 Remake project)?
How many of you played the first episode and would be delighted with its return?
