E3 2021: Microsoft and Bethesda in a joint conference

E3 2021: Microsoft and Bethesda in a joint conference

Microsoft and the newly acquired Bethesda they will be present together in one joint conference dell 'E3 2021, the largest video game fair that this year returns in a fully digital and interactive format.

To reveal the union during the event was Matt Booty, leader of the Xbox Games Studio, during an interview with Le Figaro. In the past Microsoft and Bethesda have always participated in E3 with their own solitary conferences, but obviously after the entry of Zenimax group in the ranks of the Xbox Games Studio, it makes sense that their conferences are now merged into one.

At the moment we don't know what Bethesda wants to show during E3, let's hope it's some new detail on the follow-up Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls VI, of which we have yet to discover the setting, or the project Starfield, presented in 2018 and never seen again, both two works highly anticipated by fans. According to Jason Schreier, authoritative signature of Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal, it will be Starfield to have an appearance at E3, even if its release is still a long way off (presumably end of 2022).

We remind you that registrations for E3 2021, a completely virtual edition this year, will open shortly and will allow all users to customize their avatar and participate in collateral interactive activities at conferences. There will also be alongside Bethesda and Microsoft other publishers such as Nintendo, Take-Two, Ubisoft, Capcom, Bandai Namco, SEGA, Square Enix and many others. There will also be single or collective events in this period, like the Game Summer Fest by Geoff Keighley of EA Play Electronic Arts.

E3 2021 will officially start on 12nd June, but expect big news already in the previous days because the event opens to the press a week earlier.
