One of the absolute protagonists of this E3 2018 is definitely Kingdom Hearts 3, highly anticipated title of Square Enix who in the last few days has left us a lot of information. So let's go and analyze the new trailers.

Trailer and release date:
A few hours before the conference Microsoft, the official Twitter page of Kingdom Hearts announces the release date of the game set for January 29, 2019. Just during the Microsoft conference, surprisingly, a new trailer is shown. A few more scenes were shown during the panel of Square Enix, small clips that, however, pave the way for speculation about the future of the saga.
Worlds available
Let's summarize the worlds that will be present in Kingdom Hearts 3 shown so far:
- Toy Story.
- Monsters & Co.
- Rapunzel.
- Frozen.
- Twilightpolis.
- Ratatouile (possible minigame world like Winnie the Pooh).
- Hercules.
- Radiant Garden.
- Pirates of the Caribbean.
Summons
One of Sora's most iconic abilities is to summon powerful allies onto the battlefield. The past episodes of the series have accustomed us to famous people of the world Disney like Simba who returns as "Aeon" after his NPC role in Kingdom Hearts 2 o Ariel e Ralph Smasher making its debut in this category. In the new adventure it seems that the Nomura team was inspired by the attractions of Disneyland like Magic mountain, the little train seen in the trailer with the Titan of the Rock, the spinning cups, the water attraction and the pirate ship. Who knows if the Summoning system will remain unchanged or will receive changes making it more "Story Driven" as seen in Final Fantasy XV.
The new powers of the Keyblade
It seems now confirmed that every new Keyblade we get in this new adventure will allow Sora to access new abilities that will allow the weapon to transform for a few seconds.
- Toy Story Keyblade: Hammer / Auger.
- Keyblade di Monsters & Co.: Artigli/YO-YO.
- Rapunzel's Keyblade: Magic Staff.
- Hercules Keyblade: Pegasus Beam.
- “Star Keyblade” (name given by fans to the keyblade similar to the Star Seeker seen in some trailers): Double Gun / Cannon.
- Frozen Keyblade: Covers the body in ice allowing you to skate across the battlefield and unleash melee attacks.
- Keyblade of the Pirates of the Caribbean: Special attacks not yet identified.
This feature of the Keyblade had already been made known in Birth by Sleep where the protagonists' weapons were transformed into means of transport.
Organization XIII, the return of Roxas and the future of the saga
We come to the most spoilerable part of this article: if you haven't played the billions of prequels and spinoffs of this series, which thicken the plot more than a film of M. Night Shyamalan, I recommend you stop here if you don't want to SPOILER.
Looking at these new trailers we find some well-known faces including Larxene, Zexion, Xigbar, Luxord e Axel. As many of you will know, in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance we are told that when a person's Heartless and Nobody are defeated they can come back to life and choose whether to take the path of light or darkness. At the end of this chapter Axel (now back Lea) joins the group of protagonists obtaining his keyblade and undergoing with Kairi the exam by Keyblade Master like Sora and Riku before him and, in this third chapter we will probably see more developments both for Axel who for Kairi grappling with their challenges. Returning to the members of the organization, Larxene and Luxord do not seem to have abandoned their evil plans by setting out in search of 7 new princesses of the heart while Zexion seems to be back the Radiant Garden scholar he once was. As for Xigbar we know that he is still on the side of the bad guys being part Xehanort. In this new trailer we return to Twilight Town where Sora meets Hayden, Pence and Olette and where she tries to recreate / bring Roxas back to life as part of him is still in her heart. All of which brings us back to exactly where she left off Dream Drop Distance, the prophesied battle between the seven warriors of light versus the 13 of darkness.
