Microsoft adds touch controls to some Xbox Cloud Gaming titles

Microsoft has announced a very interesting feature that will delight those who have the luck and the technological possibilities to take advantage of cloud gaming.

The company has in fact added touch controls to a whole series of video games on its xCloud service. And we're not just talking about games with simple gameplay but also video games in which there is a certain underlying complexity and for which it would be important and interesting to have a controller.



However, if the controller is missing and the desire to play is great, thanks to this choice by Microsoft, players will be able to take advantage of about fifty titles with nothing but the screen of their smartphone.

Microsoft introduced touch controls for the first time with Minecraft Dungeon during last September, then declaring how this feature was very important because it represents one of the most common requests in the cloud gaming field.



At the moment Xbox Cloud Gaming is currently only available on Android; the iOS and PC versions are scheduled for this spring.

Phil Spencer has stated that he is strongly intent on bringing the world of Cloud Gaming signed Xbox Game Pass to Apple, despite the latter company having put several stakes on the matter.
