In the vast catalog of mods available for Monster Hunter World, apart from the purely parody ones, there are some that can improve your gaming experience by adding new features and filing particular "defects" of the basic version.
How to install the mods
Souvenir’s Light Pillars
How many times have you seen materials drop from the monster you are fighting and maybe not be able to find them in the thick vegetation? Thanks to this mod, every object that falls to the ground will create a column of light in the Diablo 3 loot style that will allow you to easily locate your loot.
Astera Gathering Hub
If you are tired of going back and forth on Astera's freight elevator to go through all the various NPCs before each mission, with Gathering Hub you can bring them all together on the Celestial Hunt for faster access during online missions. This mod is visible to all players in your party who have installed it.
DPS Meter
If you want to know how much you are actually contributing to the hunt, this mod will allow you to keep under control the damage inflicted, the life of monsters and their respective statuses. Honestly, this mod seems more suitable for MMOs like World of Warcraft and breaks a bit what the spirit of the game is, but there are those who have a fetish for numbers and some things just can't say no.
Transmog
If aesthetics are everything to you and you can't bear to walk around dressed as Santa Claus just because the stats are higher, the Transmog mod (also inspired by WoW) will allow you to modify the skin of your armor with the pieces that you prefer keeping the statistics of what you wear, of course choosing from pieces that you have already created. This mod will also be visible to the players you meet so everyone will see your new look!
SpecialK Performance
Unlike other mods listed, this one will not modify your game but will improve performance by reducing CPU usage, fixing some full screen problems and fixing all those little errors that weigh down your gaming experience.
Goodbye Motion Blur!
One of the things most hated by PC gamers who are more attentive to the performance of their favorite titles is the motion blur, that effect of blurring the edges that often happens in the most animated games. This mod eliminates the problem by giving the game a smoother gameplay as many hunters recommend. It is important to also have the SpecialK mod installed in order to make it work.
Lazy Aspect Fix
Another mod that will help you improve the performance on your PC by adjusting the aspect ratio and resolution of your screen saving you the hassle of wasting time near the settings.
Clear Hunter ReShade
Last mod of the graphic sector this time dedicated to our character. Clear Hunter ReShade adjusts the game's textures to make them more realistic and add some color to the armor and elements that surround us.
Classic Monster Hunter SFX
Monster Hunter World was really a new beginning for the franchise that managed to shake off some mechanics of the previous titles but also abandoning many elements of the audio sector that have been in the hearts of many veteran hunters for years. This mod will allow you to relive the times of the PS2 and PSP by re-inserting all those sound effects that made the series famous.
Mod Manager
Finally, here is a way to keep the different mods that you have downloaded under control and in order. This mod will also show you if some of them conflict with each other, making it quicker to manage files without browsing through different folders.
