1. Resident Evil 2: Leon and Claire's Weapons Guide

Starting today Resident Evil 2 is officially available in stores, for the occasion we want to inaugurate one on the portal series of guides that might be useful to you, starting with “How to get Leon's Magnum and Claire's MQ11 SMG”.

At the beginning of the adventure, it is possible to decide whether to impersonate Leon or Clear. Depending on the protagonist chosen, the main weapon that you can wield during the game also changes, but which first of all must be recovered. With Leon you will have the opportunity to have a powerful one Magnum while with Clear of a MQ11 SGM.  

Below we report all the steps to take to get the weapon of the selected character:

1. First of all, recover the book with the clues to solve the puzzle of the 3 statues, you can find it when you meet the man in danger in the early stages of the game, then interact with the statues (the first is found in the main hall, the second in the library and the third one beyond the door with C4) to solve the puzzles and recover the medallions
2. Once on the west side of the police station, enter the library on the third floor and try to reach the door on the opposite side, you will fall below
3. Eliminate the Zombies and collect the red book that you find in the room, on a coffee table
4. Move the bookcases to create a passage to the upper floors
5. Go up to the second floor and enter the Art room using the key with the swords (discover how to get all keys in Resident Evil 2), you will find the magnetic card to access the weapons depot

1. Go to the weapons depot and use the Red Book to solve the puzzle of the statue, placing the book on the right arm of the same, you will receive a scepter 
2. Examine the scepter to receive a red gem that you will need to deposit in your inventory
3. Go back to the Hall and use the medallions to open the secret passage under the statue, from there you will access the interrogation room or the observatory (the path changes depending on the character). With Leon you will have to use the handle to access the observatory, while with Claire you will have to use the key with the heart
4. Inside the room you will find a box, use the gem you recovered earlier to open it and get the STARS Badge
5. Examine the badge from the inventory for a USB stick
6. Go to the STARS office and use the USB key on your computer (find the room on the second floor, near the library) to unlock access to the locked room

Once this is done you will recover the main weapons of the two!
