SECOND PART OF THE GUIDE HERE
Autumn 1944. Sea of Japan. Shortly before the atomic bomb ended World War II, a small US commando was dispatched to retrieve a Japanese scientist who knew crucial information for the war. Operation Aurora began on 06 October at 06.00. Twenty minutes later it was already over. The outcome of the operation was not revealed to the public, the recordings were destroyed and the operation became a chimera.
OPERAZIONE AURORA (PROLOGUE) - 06 OCTOBER 1944 - SEA OF JAPAN [0 COLLECTABLE ITEMS]
Once the enemy has been eliminated, we continue forward until we reach our companion at the end of the bridge and get back the weapon we had lost. Once this is done we will have to infiltrate the trenches, so let's go left along the stairs, go up and remain always in pursuit of McKee. Having made the jump down with McKee we continue leaving the first enemy to come to him, in fact our partner will make him out in an automatic action in which we will not be able to interact. Once this is done, we continue to the right and eliminate the three enemies that will appear in the clearing of the trench and then continue to a second clearing where we can eliminate other enemies until we reach a third where the amount of enemies will be double compared to before. Killed these enemies too, we continue with McKee up to the rock wall from where a rope will be thrown. We wait for our companions to go up and then we go up too.
Once at the top we continue through the forest until we reach a field with tall grass and minefields. Here we will stop by shooting a movie in which we will see the passage of the Japanese with tanks and infantry that will be swept by the American planes that will blow everything up. Having regained the commands, we continue forward, quickly cutting the road and we take out the few survivors in the field beyond the road. Once the enemies have been eliminated, we follow the passage along the ridge and cross the wooden bridge in order to meet and escort the Japanese scientist.
Having met the scientist and restarted, we continue up the stairs until we reach a Japanese base, the escape route in fact consists in reaching a submarine as the path followed to reach here is now blocked by the enemies. Reached the base we throw a grenade in the air in order to make them reach the big red tank with the launch. Once the grenade has exploded, we leave the cover and advance inside the small base eliminating the enemies directly and indirectly by shooting the barrels and boxes colored red, a color that identifies explosive objects. After clearing the base of a few dozen enemies, we recover the ammunition, then we get on board the Jeep driven by our companion, we will be at the machine gun with which we will have to take out the enemies on foot and aboard other Jeeps. Pay particular attention to the first sharp curve on the right, in fact in front of us there will be an enemy armed with rocket launchers and a second enemy will appear on the bridge at the entrance to the submarine base. The rest of the enemies will be easy to take out, they are in fact small platoons on foot and two Jeeps that become practically harmless after taking out the enemy from the machine gun.
At the end of the Jeep trip we get out of the vehicle and continue forward throwing a grenade around the corner on the right in order to take out the enemy from the machine gun, then we quickly aim to the left and eliminate two more Japanese. After this we continue keeping an eye on the crates on the right, behind one, just before a door, a fourth Japanese will appear to be eliminated. Once this is done we reach the door, we wait for the explosives to be given to us, then place it and blow up the entrance so as to enter the submarine hangar. From here we will have to run back and forth along the quays to reach the bridges first and the gates to the next quay then. At each bridge and gate we will also have to collide with a small group of enemies, sometimes stationed above the crates, others instead positioned on top of a bridge. Once we have reached the submarine, there is nothing left to do but get on board, leaving the enemies in the area to lose, the US reinforcements on the Japanese submarine are already thinking about keeping the enemies busy.
Once you get on the submarine, the ending movie of the prologue will be activated… welcome back to the Bad Company!
COLD WAR (CHAPTER 01) - 0 M-COM STATIONS (0 COLLECTABLE ITEMS)
Once on the street we pay attention to the right, we use the viewfinder and from time to time we move from cover to cover so as to eliminate the enemy positioned on top of the tank to control the machine gun, this is in fact our worst enemy at the moment since its firepower is able to destroy even The walls. Eliminated the guy with the machine gun, we continue to the right walking quietly along the road and eliminate the enemies that our companions have not yet managed to take out. Reached the enemy half we begin to keep an eye on the house at the bottom, on the second floor of this in fact a first enemy armed with RPG will appear that we must take out at all costs. Once this enemy has been eliminated, a second one will arrive, always armed with an RPG, on the left, in the open field. Once this is done, we continue along the ridge to the left, conquering the road meter by meter, eliminating the enemies until we reach the bus that completely blocks the passage. Here we take shelter behind the covers or inside the buildings to the right and engage in a long fight with the enemy by eliminating no less than a dozen enemies.
Conquered the bus, we continue to the right thus entering an area called the courtyard. Here we will see a helicopter arrive that will unload half a dozen enemy soldiers in the area, so let's keep sheltered at the beginning inside the buildings passing from one to another quickly so as to avoid the destruction of the building giving us problems.
Once the tank has been destroyed, we will aim to locate a Russian vehicle, from the position we are in we go then to the left, we pass the now destroyed tank - we also collect the weapons lying around that we have never taken before for the collection, but we return immediately after always to our trusty machine gun - and we will reach a new position where the enemy has placed a powerful machine gun on the balcony. Let's forget the enemy, rather let's throw a grenade in the direction of the large petrol tank so as to kill all the enemies with a single explosion thanks to the demolition of the building.
From here we continue first to the left eliminating a small group of enemies who will arrive on foot and aboard a quad, then go right going up the road thanks to the destroyed car. Once up we pass again from building to building facing the enemies with in particular a powerful machine gun on the right of the field first and an enemy armed with rocket launchers on the left at the end of the field then. Apart from the two biggest problems, the remaining enemies are nothing more than normal routine.
Cleaned the area from the enemies we continue forward until we reach the truck at the bottom, here will activate the final phase of the mission, Haggard and Redford will go up to the cabin, while we as Marlowe and Stillwater will take care of repelling the enemy. Our area of expertise is the rear area of the vehicle and the task is not complicated, in fact, we must use the normal machine gun when the enemy we meet on foot or aboard the Quad, while for armored vehicles we use the secondary fire of our machine gun. so as to break through the vehicle and send it down over the embankment. The escape will then be stopped definitively by a helicopter that at the beginning we will not be able to hit in any way and that we will have to start bombing when it slips into the tunnel with us.
Destroyed the helicopter will trigger the opening cutscene with Redford's retirement which will slip again, the Bad Company moves to Bolivia.
HEART DARKNESS (CHAPTER 2) - 2 M-COM STATIONS (1 OBJECT: SPAS-12)
Once the station is destroyed, we go back to the river and go up to the village and then the stairs in order to reach the chest with the new weapons provided by the command thanks to the helicopter - just before the chest we will find the second enemy M-COM station, right at the top of the stone staircase.
Destroyed the stations and interacted with the cash desk which gives us the possibility to change our equipment, we go back down to the small village of shacks and after having killed half a dozen enemies placed inside the shacks, we reach the river again to board a second boat, this time armed where we will be put in control of the vessel and the grenade launcher, but we won't need the weapon. After the peaceful boat trip we will reach an enemy base in what seems to be a carpentry, so we get off the boat and continue to the right following the entire beach in order to collect the C4 in the first hut - useful for blowing up something - and eliminate with logic and without too many surprises the enemies that will pour into the area after our first shot.
Completely cleared the area we turn to this in order to collect new weapons - are always reported on the radar from the gun icon - and ammunition for the weapons in our possession - these are also indicated on the radar by the icon in the shape of bullets. Then loaded with weapons and ammunition, we go up the main road of the camp so as to reach the entrance of the camp where we can fight again against two other militia battalions that control the area. After this we continue uphill following the main road of the camp in order to conclude the chapter.
