The publisher Nicalis published the news a few hours ago: The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is about to land on Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch over the third quarter of 2021. The final expansion of the most famous roguelike of recent years will be released for PC, via the Steam platform, next 31 March and, in the months immediately following, it will also land on the consoles indicated above, both in digital format and in a flamboyant physical version, bookable on Nicalis Store.
According to what is published in the description, our Isaac will be catapulted into brand new stages, with enemies never met before, being able to count on a whole series of new items, having to face a whole series of challenges and, above all, being called to defeat a new and terrifying one final boss.
The development team stated that, although the development of the game has already been completed for some time, the months prior to the release will be very useful to "clean up" the gameplay and balance all the new features included, in order to publish the game experience that all fans of The Binding of Isaac look forward to.
