The world of Call of duty warzone is ready to give a good blow to the hearts of all 80s-90s action movie fans. Websites created ad hoc and strange tweets report the landing in Verdansk of two really super characters: John Rambo and John McLane of Die Hard.
These are the clues.
A few days ago, the Call of Duty Twitter account asked if anyone knew “SURVIVORJOHN#1009062?”. His #WarzoneReport is pretty impressive, as it shows he would have 552 kills, an infinite K / D ratio, 0 deaths, 5 games played, 5 wins and 7 hours of play.
Doing a little research into Rambo's history, you will find that the Rambo series consists of five films (5 games played and 5 wins) which have a total duration of approximately 7 hours. Plus, of course, Rambo is not dead yet in his movies (0 deaths) and killed, according to Fandom.com, exactly 552 people (552 kills).
The clues to John McClane's involvement are a little more structured, as there is a brand new website - NakatomiDuctCleaning.com - which hints at his arrival.
On Twitter, Call of Duty said: "Air ducts are a complicated web of dangers. If you need repairs, call Nakatomi Duct Cleaning best business".
For the uninitiated, the Nakatomi Corporation is the company McClane's wife works for in the very first film in the series, Crystal Trap. After reaching Nakatomi Plaza, Die Hard events kick off and McClane eventually finds himself having to fight his way through unscrupulous robbers through the aforementioned air ducts.
The Nakatomi Duct Cleaning website features other nods to McClane, including the famous motto “Say Yippee Ki Yay” and a Schedule An Appointment button that automatically tries to email [email protected].
Apart from the arrival of the two Johns itself, what is heartbreaker is the load of quotations put into play by the marketing apparatus, don't you agree?
