Santa Monica Studio, parent company of the God of War currently in the spotlight for the highly anticipated Ragnarok (sequel to one of the best action of recent years and Game of the Year 2018), in the past few hours has released a job advertisement he has unleashed the imagination of some commentators.
According to the official Twitter profile, Santa Monica would be at the search for a Lead Writer for a new project not yet announced. It is not the first time that we have heard of a "secondary" project of the team, and already at the beginning of the year the studio was looking for an Art Director for a new game.
It is unclear whether these job postings are for the same project or not, but it seems likely, unless the company is working on more games besides Raganork (in which case, the writer is already watering his mouth).
Until today Santa Monica was mostly known for the Kratos saga, but it is certainly not absurd to expect an expansion of their offer to include new franchises.
After all, whether it's a new IP or a God of War spin-off Santa Monica's capabilities are undisputed and the hype, therefore, very high.
At the moment it is difficult to predict the extent and nature of the game's development, but we are confident that the first official news will not be long in coming.
What would you prefer? An accompanying title to the new adventure of Kratos and Atreus or a completely new game?
