NiER Automata: 9S Nendoroid is coming
In September the Nendoriod di 2B, the beloved protagonist of NiER: Automata. A highly requested product from the Yoko Taro JRPG fan community that has had a great success in terms of sales. The little Nendoroid was sold with all the weapons in possession of 2B, including Virtuous Pact and the broadsword Virtuous Treaty, in addition to the Pod 042 that accompanies it throughout the adventure.
This time, however, it's the part of 9S. The second protagonist will be the next Nendoroid in the series, and he too will be accompanied by the trusty Pod 153 and a sword. As for the third protagonist of A2? A Nendoroid has not yet been announced for her, we await news after the official release of 9S on the market, whose launch window has not yet been confirmed by Good Smile.
NiER Automata it is one of the best JRPGs of recent years. It is an action-RPG that contains a gameplay similar to that appreciated in the other works of Platinum Games, which produced the title. This is the sequel to NiER, released for PS3 and Xbox 360, itself a spin-off of the saga Drakengard. The series develops from the secret ending of Drakengard 1.
The video game puts us in the shoes of a combat android engaged in a devastating war between humans and biomachines for the domination of planet earth. In reality, the androids to personify in the game are three, of which two mentioned above, which lead to different endings and branches.
At the last Tokyo Game Show 2020, the prequel of NiER Automata, entitled NieR:Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 Expected for the April 22 2021. In this prequel, unreleased in the West, we will put ourselves in the shoes of Yonah's older brother, a character at the center of the prequel's events. The same story is available in the first NiER released in 2010 but experienced from the point of view of Yonah's father. Why two different characters for the same story? Yonah's father, a character with physical features similar to God of War's Kratos, was much closer to the hero's Western imagery, according to the producers.
