With the finalization of theacquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft (here the news), the wait for a possible debut of his games on Game Pass has become feverish, and we already have the first "Suspicious sightings".
Un bundle contenente Fallout 4 GOTY e Skyrim Special Edition recently appeared on the Microsoft Store with a March 12 release date, as reported by the Lumia Updates Twitter account.
In the same hours, The Evil Within also popped up on the Microsoft Store with the same release date.
According to various sources, the arrival of Bethesda games on Game Pass would be al "Later this week", and for sure Skyrim and Fallout 4 would be the most logical additions of all.
The bundle page has been removed, but links to it can still be found by searching for one of the two games on the Microsoft Store.
Although Skyrim Special Edition is currently part of the Ultimate Game Pass, neither it nor Fallout 4 has been available with Game Pass for PC before from now. On the other hand, various newspapers point out how the versions of the two blockbusters for Game Pass may not have modding enabled, allowing players to use only mods of the Creation Club Bethesda official, an event that would cut out most of the best fan-made additions to the two games.
But it doesn't matter: after all, just the presence of Fallout 4 and above all Skyrim in the catalog could prove to be a real "definitive killer application" for the Microsoft service, at least for a specific user.
Released in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the most played games ever in contemporary gaming, also thanks to its fortune among modders on PC. Fallout 4, released in 2015, represents to date the last episode of the successful sci-fi rpg series born by Obsidian and then acquired by Bethesda.
