One of the most popular shooters features may soon be coming to Fortnite. According to what was reported by the reliable leaker HYPEX, Epic Games would be working on the addition of the "sliding" function, commonly called slip.
????
By adding this popular mechanic, Fortnite would boost the movement department a bit, which has always been the weak point of Epic Games' battle royale.
Fortnite adds the "sliding" movement
In the last few hours there is a lot of talk about the possibility of seeing the slip su Fortnite. But where did all this rumor come from?
Before discussing the possibility of this feature arriving on Epic Games' battle royale, in fact, it is better to clarify what originated this interest from the community.
HYPEX, one of the most trusted leakers in the Fortnite community, posted the following tweet on September 16.
The leaker has made it known that on the occasion of the latest update, Epic has added a new type of movement, definito “sliding”. This movement increases the field of view by 15 when you are gliding and will vibrate your vision, with a two-second reload time.
Subsequently, HYPEX clarifies that it is not yet certain how the slip (whether with a tool or another way) and not even the release date of this new feature.
Judging from the description given by HYPEX, it seems difficult that the slip is tied to an object. First of all, it is paradoxical that the characters need an object to slide. Second, from the effect described, it does not appear to be a enhancement to justify the use of a slot.
To top it off, the introduction of this movement mechanic is Epic's blatant attempt at recreate the feeling that is having so much success on Apex Legends and Warzone. Linking the slip to an object would reduce innovation in the field of movement to a trivial strengthening with the days numbered, as was the grapple or other movement tools.
Do you think Epic Games will really introduce slips? If so, when? Write it below with a comment!
