How to perform a Super Finish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
The first thing you need to do to perform a DBZ: Kakarot Super Finish is to progress through the story until you acquire the ability to become Super Saiyan. We have a dedicated guide for this if you want to learn more about the specifics of this process.

After unlocking the skill, simply follow the steps mentioned below:
- During a battle, hold down both activation buttons on the controller and then select the "Super Saiyan" transformation
- Keep fighting until you fully charge the voltage gauge (HUD element similar to a flame bottom right)
- Hold the Triangle button on PS4 or the Y button on Xbox to charge your Ki Ki Meter
- Once full, you should enter Surge mode
- At this point, you need to finish off your opponent using a special attack
If you've done all the steps correctly, a brief scene will trigger in which your opponent is cinematically defeated. It's worth noting, however, that Surge Mode is limited, and as a result, you'll want to activate it when your opponent is already at low health. You don't want to risk losing your chance in a Super Finish by not having enough time to defeat your opponent while he remains active.
If this is your first time performing a Super Finish, you will get a Secret Bronze Trophy or Achievement worth 15 Gamerscore. It's called Flashy Finish and the description says: "Win a battle with a Super Finish".
