How to beat Dabura in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
In the anime, Dabura was thought to rival Cell's power and collided with a weak Gohan in DBZ Kakarot who hadn't trained for 7 years.
Dabura is the toughest of Babidi's minions, and the following guide details everything you need to know about his deadly skill set and how to defeat Satan himself.
Dabura only uses two skills, Dark Sword Strike and Flame Blaster in DBZ Kakarot.
Dark Sword Strike will be the only attack you need to worry about during the boss fight with Dabura.
The Flame Blaster can be dodged very easily. Throughout the entire boss fight, you'll want to unleash a flurry of attacks whenever you can, and then step back to deal damage with your ranged attacks.
When Dabura uses his Flame Blaster, simply dodge and counter attack him with your special ability to deal decent damage. Dark Spada Strike can be a little tricky to avoid.
Dabura is fast, agile and will not hesitate to close the gap between Gohan and him. Knowing this, you have to keep an eye on every move he makes and interrupt his combos as much as possible in DBZ Kakarot.
How to dodge the blow of the dark sword
Dabura's dark sword strike is a deadly move and must be avoided at all costs.
The attack is basically Dabura charging you into a sphere of energy, and you'll have to dodge the attack when Dabura is about to close in on you; when he is a few meters from Gohan.
Dark Sword Strike block
The Dark Spada Strike will reduce your health in large quantities; with each hit landing for approximately 100.000 health. If you think you can't really understand the timing of Dabura's attack, just try to block it.
Ki Blast and special attacks
Dabura has normal Ki attacks and special attacks which are relatively easy to avoid considering their trajectory is fairly straightforward and low speed.
Skills and tips
Strike of the dark sword
This is one of Dabura's deadly attacks and deals a lot of physical damage. Avoid it at all costs or at least try to block all incoming shots.
Flame Blaster
Dabura will launch a burst of fire at you that will explode on impact. A quick bullet but should be easy to dodge if you have a small distance between you and Dabura. If close, then protect any small damage you can.
And that's how you beat the King of the Underworld in DBZ Kakarot! Disappointingly, he didn't have much diversity in his skill set, but he still faced the challenge with the only two skills he had.
Stay close and use your ranged attacks when you have the window of opportunity and Dabura should be out in no time.
